The International and Other segment operates AMC/Sundance Channel Global, an international programming business that consists of 7 distinct channels in 13 languages across 24 countries focusing primarily on AMC in Canada, and global versions of the Sundance Channel and WE tv brands. This segment also operates IFC Films, an independent film distribution business that distributes films across various media platforms, including theaters, cable/satellite video-on-demand, DVDs and cable network television, and streaming/downloading to computers and other electronic devices; AMC Networks Broadcasting & Technology, a network programming feed origination and distribution company; and VOOM HD that sells programming through program license agreements. AMC Networks Inc. was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in New York, New York.
