Description: Anglo American Platinum Limited is a producer of platinum group metals (PGMs). The Company provides a resource-to-market service, supplying its network of global customers with a range of mined, recycled and traded products. Its products reside in three distinct areas: Platinum Group Metals, such as platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, osmium; base metals, such as copper, nickel, cobalt sulfate, sodium sulfate, chrome, and precious metals, such as gold. The Company owns and operates approximately eight mining operations, including the Bathopele, Dishaba, Unki, Mogalakwena, Siphumelele, Thembelani, Tumela and Union mines. The Company is developing the Twickenham Platinum Mine. The mining operations of the Company consist of managed mines, joint venture mines and associate mines across South Africa and Zimbabwe.
