Description: Calian Group Ltd., formerly Calian Technologies Ltd., is engaged in the provision of business and technology services to industry and government in the health, information technology (IT) services and training, and engineering domains, as well as the design, manufacturing and maintenance of systems to the communications and defense sectors. The Company operates through two segments: Systems Engineering Division (SED) and Business and Technology Services (BTS) division. The SED segment involves planning, designing and implementing solutions for business and technical needs in the satellite communications sector. SED also provides satellite operations services to government and commercial clients. The BTS segment involves short and long-term placements of personnel to augment customers' workforces, as well as the long-term management of projects, facilities and customer business processes. BTS also includes Med-Team, Amtek Engineering Services Ltd. (Amtek) and DWP Solutions Inc. (DWP).
