Description: Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is an unincorporated, open-ended real estate investment trust. The Trust is the owner, manager and developer of retail and other commercial properties across Canada. Its portfolio comprises over 530 properties with a total gross leasable area (GLA) of approximately 44 million square feet. Its portfolio includes retail properties, industrial properties, an office complex and undeveloped parcels of land. The retail properties are made up of approximately 320 properties with a standalone retail store operating under a Loblaw banner; approximately 190 properties anchored by a retail store operating under a Loblaw banner that also contain one or more ancillary tenants, and seven properties containing only ancillary tenants. Its subsidiaries include Choice Properties Limited Partnership, Choice Properties GP Inc. and Choice Properties PRC Brampton Limited Partnership.
