Description: Civitas Social Housing PLC is a closed-ended investment company. The Company’s investment objective is to provide shareholders with an attractive level of income, together with the potential for capital growth from investing in a portfolio of social homes, which the Company expects will benefit from long-term leases or occupancy agreements with registered providers and to deliver, on a targeted dividend yield of over 5% per annum by reference to the issue price, which the Company expects to increase in line with inflation. It invests in a portfolio of social homes throughout England and Wales. It will not invest in other alternative investment funds or closed-end investment companies. The Company will acquire a balanced portfolio of social homes, comprising Specialist Social Housing (including Extra Care and Supported Living) and General Needs Homes. Its investment advisor is Civitas Housing Advisors Limited. Its alternative investment fund manager is Ledbury Capital Partners LLP.
