Description: European Assets Trust NV is a United Kingdom-based closed-end investment company. The investment objective of the Company is to achieve growth of capital through investment in quoted small and medium-sized companies in Europe, excluding the United Kingdom. Its portfolio includes sectors, such as telecommunications, healthcare, technology, consumer services, industrials, basic materials, financials and consumer goods. The Company seeks investments in small and medium-sized companies in Europe, excluding the United Kingdom, defined as those with a market capitalization below that of the largest company in the Euromoney Smaller European Companies (ex UK) Index. The Company will not invest more than 20 per cent of its total assets in any one company. The Company does not restrict its investments to any specific industrial sectors. F&C Investment Business Limited (F&C) is the investment manager of the Company. F&C is a company within the F&C Asset Management plc group (F&C Group).
