Description: Eveready Industries India Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and markets batteries, flashlights, and general lighting and electrical products in India and internationally. It offers various batteries comprising zinc carbon, alkaline, and rechargeable batteries under the Eveready, Eveready Ultima, PowerCell, and Uniross brands. The company also provides light emitting diode (LED), plastic, and rechargeable torches, as well as brass and aluminum torches; and portable and digiLED lanterns under the Eveready and PowerCell brand names. In addition, it offers indoor lighting products, such as LED bulbs, LED battens, surface panels, linear lamps, downlight wattages, and spike guards; outdoor and industrial lighting products; and fans, room heaters, mixer grinders, irons, juicer mixer grinders, water heaters, induction cookers, and sandwich makers under the Eveready and PowerCell brand names. Further, the company is involved in the distribution of electrical products and small home appliances under the Eveready brand, as well as confectioneries products under the Jollies brand name. It markets and sells its products through a network of approximately 38 distribution centers, 4000 distribution points, and 18 sales office branches. The company also exports its products. Eveready Industries India Limited was founded in 1905 and is based in Kolkata, India.
