The company also offers remote terminal units for management of networks, such as power grids and gas lines, as well as specialized timing technology for oil and gas exploration. Its products are used in commercial; government; command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, security and reconnaissance (C4ISR); counter measures; and other defense electronic applications for the United States government on land, sea, and air-borne platforms. The company markets its products directly and through 30 independent sales representative organizations located in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Frequency Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Mitchel Field, New York.
