Description: Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited is an integrated gas production, development and exploration company. The Company is engaged in providing gas to the industrial region of West Bengal. The Company is involved in the extraction and sale of coal bed methane (CBM)/compressed natural gas (CNG) gas in India. The Company produces gas from the Raniganj (South) license area, which covers approximately 210 square kilometers, with over 2.62 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of Gas-in-Place. The Company's second asset is the Mannargudi license, which is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The Mannargudi license covers an area of approximately 670 square kilometers and over 0.98 TCF Gas-in-Place. The Company holds franchisee agreements with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited for supply of CNG. The Company also holds petroleum exploration license (PEL) with Tamil Nadu Government.
