HSBC MSCI AC FAR EAST ex JAPAN UCITS ETF(HMAF)

Description: The investment objective of the Fund is to replicate the performance of the MSCI AC Far East ex Japan Index the “Index”), while minimising as far as possible the tracking error between the Fund’s performance and that of the Index. The Index is a market-capitalisation weighted index designed to measure the performance of large and mid cap companies in China (as accessible through the Hong Kong market), Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, as defined by the Index Provider. The markets in which the issuers are based are considered to be emerging markets and accordingly, are subject to specific risk factors. In seeking to achieve its investment objective, the Fund will invest in securities included in the Index using a strategy of Optimised Replication, where the Fund invests in a representative sample of the constituents of the Index.
