Description: Keweenaw Land Association, Limited is a natural resource company. The Company is a land and timber management company that owns approximately 168,000 acres of surface land and over 402,000 acres of subsurface mineral rights in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northern Wisconsin. The Company's ownership includes approximately 153,070 acres of productive timberlands. Its ownership also includes approximately four miles of inland lake frontage, over four miles along Lake Superior and approximately 30 miles of frontage along rivers. Approximately 2,500 acres consists of commercial, recreational or city properties. The Company sells or leases parcels for commercial and/or residential development. The Company's veneer logs and sawlogs are used by customers in the milling of hardwood veneer paneling, furniture, flooring and lumber. In addition, boltwood logs are available for pallet materials. Hardwood and softwood pulpwood logs are also available.
