It also provides residential and commercial metering products and systems; leak detection and pipe condition assessment products and services; and installation, replacement, and maintenance services on new and existing valves, fire hydrants, and service lines. This segment sells its products primarily through waterworks distributors to various end user customers, including municipalities, water and wastewater utilities, gas utilities, and fire protection and construction contractors. The Anvil segment manufactures and sources a range of products, including various fittings, couplings, valves, pipe nipples, hangers and supports, forged steel pipe fittings, hammer unions, bull plugs, swage nipples, and other related pipe products for use in various forms of non-residential construction for fire protection, industrial, energy, and oil and gas applications, as well as for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning applications. This segment sells its products principally through distributors to various end users, including commercial contractors. Mueller Water Products, Inc. is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
