It also owns 28.56% interest in petroleum leases covering an area of 23,500 acres in southern Ontario; and interest in various fields in Nigeria and West Africa. The company was formerly known as Solo Oil Plc and changed its name to Scirocco Energy Plc in October 2020. Scirocco Energy Plc was incorporated in 2005 and is based in Leeds, the United Kingdom.
