The Index is designed to reflect the performance of fixed-interest tradable debt (bonds) which are investments that pay out a fixed level of income or interest. The bonds are issued by financial, utility or industrial US and non-US companies that meet specific maturity, credit rating and liquidity requirements. The bonds must be rated as "investment grade".
