Description: The aim is for the investment to reflect the performance of the Nifty 50 Index (Index) which is designed to reflect the performance of 50 Indian companies across various sectors of the Indian economy. The Index contains shares of companies meeting certain size criteria. A companyâs weighting in the Index depends on its relative size based on the combined value of a companyâs readily available shares compared to other companies. Shares must also meet certain other criteria to be included on the Index, including how often they are traded and the average cost of such trading as well as what proportion of shares are readily available. The Index is calculated on a net total return basis which means that all dividends and distributions by the companies are reinvested in the shares after tax. The Fund will invest in transferable securities and enter into financial contracts (derivatives) with one or more swap counterparties relating to the transferable securities and the Index.
